LA Auto Show

We’re very excited to share what we saw at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show! Volkswagen revealed a lot of goodies for the upcoming year. Here’s a sneak peak of what’s in store.

This is the highly anticipated brand new mid-size SUV model called the Volkswagen Atlas. The Atlas is the first Volkswagen to feature third row seating with adventure-loving families in mind. Featuring an impressive 96.8 cubic feet of cargo space with second and third row seats folding down, smart technology Driver Assist features including Pedestrian Monitoring, Lane Assist, and Blind Spot Monitor, the 7-passenger Atlas is full of big ideas.

One of our very favorite cars we saw at the LA Auto Show was the stunning 2017 Bottle Green Beetle. To say the least, it really caught our eye.

We had to fight off a swarm of viewers to get this close, but it was worth it for the view.

Volkswagen revealed the Passat GT Concept car at the Auto Show and the crowd couldn’t have been more excited. This new sporty look for the Midsize sedan is focused on performance – boasting a V-6 powered engine and 280 horsepower, it packs quite a punch! This model was based on a high demand specifically in the American market.  Black roof and black mirror caps contrast the white Passat body perfectly. Inspired by the Golf GTI, the Passat GT Concept mimics qualities like the hatchback and honeycomp grille with red accents. Though not officially approved for release as of yet, we’re betting we’ll see this model shining in many VW showrooms very soon.

On site, we were able to view the official #PinkBeetle Rally Car that Scott Speed used to win the 2016 Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship. It was surreal seeing it in real life, instead of watching it race on tv by the Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross team. Dare I say, we were starstruck!
