Exterior Updates  

The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI have received exterior updates for more refined styling. For instance, the front fascia has been redesigned to feature fresh upper and lower grille designs that include updated LED headlights and an available light bar. Other highlights include: 

• A new trunk lid with a standard light bar connecting the taillights 
• New wheel choices, including 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels for SE models, 18-inch alloy wheels for SEL and GLI models, and a new optional black-wheel package for SE and GLE models  
• New color options, including Monterey Blue Pearl and Monument Gray 

Interior Updates 

The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI also provide Encinitas drivers with an updated dashboard that includes refreshed design elements and new colors. The upper dash will feature a three-bar design that flows through the a/c vents, guiding the eye to a floating touchscreen display. This display is now 8 inches across and standard on all Jetta trims.

As for seating, the Jetta S models are upholstered with Rhombus cloth in Titan Black or Storm Grey. Meanwhile, the Sport trims are upholstered in Embossed Molekular cloth in Titan Black. Both S and Sport models feature Brushed Silver decor. Step up to the Jetta SE for perforated, Microcloud leatherette upholstery, available in Seawall Blue/Storm Grey or Grey/Titan Black two-tone color schemes. As for decor, the SE offers a new String Figure theme.

Regarding the SEL trim, expect perforated Vienna leather seating in your choice of Brown/Titan Black or Grey/Titan Black. Either can be complemented by Horizon Black decor. Finally, the Jetta GLI models feature Magnum Matte decor, alongside perforated Vienna leather upholstery in Grey/Red Crust/Titan Black with red contrast stitching. 

Technologies  

The Climatronic® Touch automatic climate control is now standard on all Volkswagen Jetta trims. This feature would be an upgrade on most other models, but the 2025 Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI are truly exceptional. For instance, upscale and advanced features that were once exclusive to the SEL trim are now standard on the SE trim. These include SiriusXM® satellite radio and voice control, as well as wireless charging and wireless App-Connect. Plus, the SE is now compatible with the sunroof upgrade! Other feature highlights include: 

• Larger brakes (Jetta GLI) 
• VAQ electronically-controlled torque-sensing limited-slip differential and XDS® electronic differential lock (Jetta GLI) 
• Unique sport exhaust system (Jetta GLI) 
• DCC® adaptive damping system (Jetta GLI)    

What’s more, the IQ.DRIVE system is now standard on all 2025 Jetta and Jetta GLI models. It includes front and rear radar and camera systems that collect live information on Encinitas streets and assess the risk of an accident. This system also works intelligently to prevent accidents before they happen and mitigate force in the event accidents are unavoidable.
