Family owned, accommodating, polite, and…mostly fair pricing!…. Brake and rotors pricing always gets me. I can usually get that done at a non vw mechanic for a better price. The warranty issue was a breeze and our other VW 60k service was a good value, with the service coupon online. Overall, a wonderful VW service shop-service advisor Alan is fantastic….go here, you won’t be sorry!

0 stars They didn't give my car back in time (2 days late). When they finally got it back to me, it started having issues it never had before. My advice is to take pictures of your engine and undercarriage before you bring it to this place.

I was just charged a very fair $89 for the exact same service that I was quoted $259 at the other local Carlsbad VW location. BEWARE!

Herman Cook rocks! Probably one of the only service centers that actually practices Total Customer Care. From the moment I walked in, I was received and offered a bottle of water while they assessed my Passat for scheduled maintenance. They gave me an honest estimate with no surprises and Service Rep Ricardo made sure to utilize all the current and available coupons. My car was serviced and washed in a reasonable time period. Honestly, I couldn’t be more appreciative of this lost art of Customer Service they continue to practice. 10 ⭐️’s!

Eric and Allen were incredibly helpful as if I were a VIP customer.. My somewhat new Atlas overheated during a drive from Texas through the desert. They made sure things were good to go and even had all the highway road kill bugs washed off my SUV. Kudos to this dealership! I highly recommend them.

Despite buying by VW Jetta up in Northern California in 2018, Herman Cook has been keeping up with regular wear and tear and services on my VW since. Alan and his team are awesome. They always take the best care of my car and I appreciate how honest and helpful they are. I often feel scammed as a female bringing my car in and this is the first place I’ve ever brought my car and truly been happy. I recommend anyone trusting these guys with their car!

Outstanding experience with Herman Cook! Let me start by shouting out JoJo our sales associate and her finance manager Linda. We didn't know either of them when we bought a used RAV4. But after that amazing experience (they trusted us to hold the car while we drove five hours to go get it!) we knew we wanted to lease our Tiguan from them.
