Final Game in the 2023 Season for SDSU Aztecs 

Here at Herman Cook Volkswagen, Aztec pride runs deep. We’re passionate supporters of San Diego State University (SDSU) athletics, especially the Aztec football team. This season, we’ve built special relationships with two outstanding student-athletes through name, image, and likeness (NIL) agreements: tight end Mark Redman and safety Cedarius Barfield.

Mark Redman: A Formidable Force on the Field 

Mark has been a force on the field, consistently ranking as the team’s top receiver. His 18 receptions for 189 yards and 1 touchdown have contributed significantly to the Aztec offense. His ability to protect the pass is augmented by his 6’6” stature and natural blocking ability. We can always count on Mark for incredible catches and a resilient playing spirit. 

Cedarius Barfield: Disrupting Offenses Like a Boss 

Cedarius has been a defensive stalwart for the Aztecs, racking up 51 tackles and 4 interceptions this season. With a knack for reading the play and disrupting the opponent’s strategy, he’s a key piece in the Aztec defense. Cedarius plays with unwavering determination and focus, making him a vital asset on the field.

A Fun and Exciting Season Coming to a Close 

As the Final Game in the 2023 Season for SDSU Aztecs approaches, we’re excited to see Mark and Cedarius light up the field one last time. Their energy and talent are a source of inspiration for fans and an integral part of the Aztecs’ success. We’re proud to support these student-athletes as they continue to excel both on and off the field.

This Saturday, November 25th, the Aztecs face off against the Fresno State Bulldogs at Snapdragon Stadium for Senior Night. This game marks a fitting end to a thrilling season, filled with amazing plays and fierce competition. We encourage everyone to come out and cheer on Mark, Cedarius, and the entire Aztec football team as they strive for victory. Let’s show our Aztec pride together! Go Aztecs!
