The Triumph at Snapdragon Stadium 

Playing at Snapdragon Stadium, a stunning venue accommodating 35,000 fervent fans, the Aztecs displayed remarkable prowess. With an astounding performance, they claimed victory, earning a total of 33 points. 

Key Players Shine 

Highlighted were Cedarius Barfield and Mark Redman, both players with Herman Cook Volkswagen NIL deals. Barfield showcased exceptional defensive skill with 3 tackles, while Redman grabbed 4 passes for 40 yards, contributing significantly to the team’s success. 

Game Highlights 

Senior quarterback Jalen Mayden’s memorable 70-yard touchdown run and Jaylon Armstead’s 1-yard touchdown play displayed the Aztecs’ offensive might. The defense fortified its position, allowing only three points over five drives, showcasing their dominance. 

The game’s intensity was palpable, especially with freshman Marcus Ratcliffe’s game-changing interception. This interception led to a field goal that narrowed the lead. Mayden’s exceptional performance as a converted safety and quarterback culminated in a 5-yard touchdown to Leo Kemp.
