(VWGoA) has inked an exclusive agreement with Bugatti Rimac to become the U.S. distributor of their vehicles, encompassing both the illustrious Bugatti and groundbreaking Rimac brands. This announcement, made during the prestigious Monterey Car Week, marks a thrilling collaboration between the pinnacle of the internal combustion engine (ICE) and the zenith of electric vehicle (EV) technology.

A Partnership of Legends 

The partnership between VWGoA and Bugatti Rimac cements the connection between two automotive giants. On one side, we have Bugatti, a brand with a rich 114-year history known for its opulent luxury vehicles and, most notably, the 16-cylinder internal combustion engine. On the other side is Rimac, an innovative trailblazer in electric hypercar technology. Together, they form a powerhouse combination that merges the traditions of ICE vehicles with the cutting-edge EV era. 

Sascha Doering, currently serving as the COO of Bugatti America, will be expanding his role to encompass the Rimac brand as well. This strategic move underlines the commitment to the successful integration of both brands into the U.S. market. 

A New Era of Automotive Excellence 

Pablo Di Si, President and CEO of VWGoA, expressed his excitement, stating, “We’re thrilled to continue distributing Bugatti vehicles through our newly-signed agreements. Our distribution network has long provided the support and expertise necessary to provide the highest quality experience for our customers. We’re also excited that we will import and distribute Rimac models through this collaboration, providing even more variety for our customers.” 

Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, highlighted the significance of the U.S. market, stating, “For both the Bugatti and Rimac brands, the U.S. is the strongest single market in the world.” He emphasized the importance of delivering a tailored sales and ownership experience to match the extraordinary cars offered by both brands.
